ABOUT US

Gleaming Cleaning is owned and operated by Emily Goerdt, a veteran of the United States Army, military wife, and mother of two beautiful, vivacious girls. After the birth of her second daughter, Emily experienced crippling Post-Partum Depression, which quickly led to the conception of Gleaming Cleaning as a way to mitigate the stressors of PPD.

Since its establishment in October 2022, Emily has secured several residential and commercial contracts around the Hoke and Moore County areas. She serves as Fort Liberty’s (formerly Fort Bragg) move-in-ready specialist, turning post housing units into livable and comfortable homes for incoming soldiers and their families.

As Gleaming Cleaning looks to expand, it remains rooted in its core values: integrity, honesty, communication, and dedication. With these principles and the sheer desire to produce outstanding work with maximum effort, Gleaming Cleaning paves its way toward earning a reputation grounded in excellence.

FAQs

window cleaning
  1. “How quickly are you available?” – My schedule is well balanced. Because I also serve the military community, I understand that the families often have to move at a moment’s notice, so I make myself readily available in that case.
  2. “How long does a cleaning normally take?” – This depends on the type of cleaning, square footage of the home, and its condition at the start of the cleaning. Typically, I work an average of five to six hours for a deep clean, but I have been known to take all day with some homes. This is why I charge a flat rate for bigger cleans and an hourly rate for maintenance cleans.
  3. “Do you require a consultation first?” – I do not require an in-person consultation prior to cleaning, although I am not opposed to it! I will ask a few questions through your chosen method of contact, and from there, we will go over pricing and set a day and time that works best for you.
  4. “When is payment due?” – Payment is due at the completion of each cleaning and before I leave the property.
